GBS offers extended cycle life and prolonged lifespan in high ambient temperatures. The generated heat can easily dissipate to the case walls due to the gel filling the entire volume of the cell. The immobilization of the electrolyte in the gel prevents acid stratification. Maintenance-free operation (no water topping-up required) and low self-discharge rate, with less than 2% capacity loss per month, ensure optimal performance. Precise valve opening and closing pressure distribution is crucial for maximizing the battery's lifespan.
